6. Set Time/Auto Off/Duplex Default
Set Time
Use to set the copier’s internal clock. Set the clock following the
display.

The clock must be adjusted if you change the clock to daylight
saving time/summer time, or return it to standard time.
Auto Off
To conserve energy, this copier automatically turns off after the
selected time since your job is finished. The auto off time can be
set from 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes, or
240 minutes.

To exit Auto Off mode, turn on the main switch.

Duplex Default
You can select 1 Sided Originals to 2 Sided Copy, 2 Sided
Original to 2 Sided Copy, or 1 Sided Original To 1 Sided Copy
mode that is selected as a default setting.

Weekly Timer
Use to set the weekly timer. If you set the timer, the copier turns
on and off at the selected time each day.

Before setting the weekly timer, set the copier’s internal clock.

You should input the ON time and OFF time for each day.
❐ If you want to turn off the copier for an entire day (e.g.,
Saturday, Sunday), input the same time (e.g.: 00:00) for both
On and Off for the day you want the machine off.

❐ If you turn off the main switch or unplug the power cord, the
weekly timer does not come effect.

After the copier is turned off by the weekly timer or by turning
off the main switch, cooling fans inside the copier continue
turning for 30 minutes, and some of them for longer. Therefore,
the sound of the fans decreases after 30 minutes
Auto Off
When the copier is used after the weekly timer (

for weekly
timer, see above) has turned it off, the copier will turn itself back
off after the selected time. You can select from 30 minutes, 1
hour, 3 hours, or no auto off.
