8. Remove the front cover.
(2 hinge pins)
9. Remove the registration knob-A2 and
middle knob-A3
(1 screw each).
10. Remove the right inner cover.
11. Remove the LCT set block [ B ]
(1 screw).
12. Remove the main control board
and mounting bracket.
(4 screws, all connectors).
13. Remove the lower paper feed clutch
[ C ] (1 E-ring).
14. Remove the separation roller gear
[ D ] (1 E-ring).
15. Remove the spring [ E ] and remove the timing
belt [ F ] from the relay roller pulley [ G ].
Disconnect the connector [ H ] from the lower
paper feed unit.
16. Remove the vertical transport guide plate [ I ]
(1 screw).
17. Remove the lower paper feed unit [ J ]
(2 screws).
18. Remove the bracket [ B ] (2 screws).
19. Remove the relay clutch [ C ]
(1 connector, 1 bushing).
(No need to carry out this procedure for the
Units with a Duplex Tray).
20. Remove the upper paper feed clutch [ D ]
(1 E-ring, 1 connector).
21. Remove the separation roller drive gear
[ E ] (1 E-ring). (No need to carry out this
procedure for the Units with a Duplex Tray).
22. Remove the upper paper feed unit [ F ]
(2 screws, 1 connector).
23. Reassemble both Feed Units. See page 6. for the Drive Belt layout. Continued...
