CAUTION
WHEN ROUTING THE PROBE CABLE ASSEMBLY FROM YOUR SP2-1
PROBE TO YOUR PC, IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THE CABLE IS KEPT
WELL AWAY FROM MOVING PARTS WHICH MAY SNAG, ENTANGLE,
TRAP OR SEVER IT WHEN THE MACHINE TOOL IS IN MOTION. IT IS
ALSO VERY IMPORTANT THAT SUFFICIENT ‘SLACK’ IS PROVIDED TO
ALLOW THE MACHINE TOOL TO MOVE WITHIN ITS ENTIRE
OPERATING ENVELOPE WITHOUT CAUSING ANY STRAINING OF THE
CABLE.
6.
Route the probe cable assembly [1] to the rear of your PC as
required, and observing the above Caution.
7.
Connect the D type socket [4] of the probe cable assembly [2]
to the rear of the probe interface card [5] and tighten into position.
