Installation of the probe interface card
To install the probe interface card within your PC, carry out the following:

The following instructions are for guidance only. Consult the User
Manual or Technical Reference Manual supplied with your PC for
specific instructions/safety information.
1.
Disconnect the power supply to your PC.
2.
Remove the external covers of the PC in accordance the
manufacturer’s instructions.
3a.
If installing a CC1 probe interface card, locate a vacant 8 or 16 bit bus
slot into which the probe interface card can be fitted.
3b.
If installing a CC5 probe interface card, locate a vacant PCI slot into
which the probe interface can be fitted.
4.
Observing anti-static precautions, carefully slot the probe interface
card [1] into place (following all manufacturer’s instructions). Ensure
that no part of the probe interface card is in contact with other
expansion cards within your PC.
5.
Screw the mounting bracket of the probe interface card to the
back panel rail of your PC.
6.
Make a final check of the installation.
7.
Replace the external covers of the PC.
8.
Reconnect the power supply to your PC.
