(4) Inquiry/Selection States
The boot program returns information from the flash memory in response to the host’s inquiry
commands and selects the device code, clock mode, and bit rate in response to the host’s selection
command.

The selection commands, which are device selection (H'10), clock mode selection (H'11), and new
bit rate selection (H'3F), should be transmitted from the host in that order. These commands will
certainly be needed. When two or more selection commands are transmitted at once, the last
command will be valid.
