5.10.2  TDM Statistics - Statistics Screen 

The TDM Port Statistics screen displays line statistics for the port selected in the 
TDM System Configuration screen.

Port ID

: TDM interface port being monitored. 

Loss of Signal

: No pulses are detected at the input port for a period of 175 bits. 

Loss of Frame Alignment

: At least three consecutive FAS frames are received in 

error (E1). 

Loss of multiframe

: Two consecutive multiframe alignment signals have been 

received with an error. 

Remote Alarm Indication

: A red carrier-failure alarm exists at the remote network 

interface location. 

Alarm Indication Signal

: AIS alarm is a notification sent to upstream devices to 

inform them that the originating signal has been lost. 

Errored second

: An Errored Second has one or more of the following errors: Path 

Code Violation (PCV), Out of Frame defects (OOF), or Alarm Indication Signal 
(AIS). 

Framing error counter

: Number of frames with errors. 

Code violation counter

: A bipolar violation or a pulse-density violation. 

Reset Port Stats

: Click to zero all statistics counters for this port.
