Packet Length
: Set the Ethernet packet length used by this bundle (from 128 to 1024
bytes).
The Packet Length setting determines the amount of TDM timeslot data collected
before the Ethernet packet is sent to the remote AN-30e system. Each timeslot sample
requires eight bytes of data.
Step 3. Save Settings
Send
: Click Send to save the general settings. If you do not click Send, the changes
will be discarded when you exit this screen.
Note: Clicking Send does not permanently save the current settings or make these
settings active. You must click Send and then click Save in the TDM General
Configuration screen to permanently save any new settings for the TDM board.
5.9.5 TDM System Configuration Control Buttons
Use these control buttons at the bottom of the TDM General Configuration screen to
test, save, or cancel changes to the TDM interface.

Save
: Click Save to save the current parameter settings.
Test
: Click this button to have the system activate the current configuration settings
for a period of five minutes. Click Save at any time during this period to permanently
save the current settings. Following this interval the system reboots and loads the
previously saved settings (test settings are discarded).
Cancel:
Click the cancel to discard all changes since the last save command.
