5.9.4 TDM Config - Bundle Selection
The TDM Bundle Configuration settings allow you to send full or fractional channels
over the wireless. Use of fractional channels can preserve bandwidth by sending data
for only the designated sets of timeslots.
The TDM Bundle Configuration settings allow you to specify up to eight full or
fractional E1 bundles. Use of fractional services can save bandwidth by sending only
the designated sets of timeslots. Framing must be selected on ports where fractional
bundles are specified.
TDM signals are transported by encapsulating timeslot data within Ethernet packets.
The AN-30e supports multiple packet streams, each grouping one or more timeslots.
Each bundle may be assigned a separate destination address. If Fractional E1 is used,
multiple bundles can be defined to a single port. This feature allows multiple
fractional channels from remote-end AN-30e systems to be combined onto a single
port of a network-connected AN-30e system.
