Do remember however that the temperature assigned to the
thermostat is only indicative and it is up to the user to find the correct
parameter in the room where the boiler is installed (for instance, (s)he
needs to set 22 °C in the boiler thermostat to have 20 °C throughout
the room). This happens because the room thermostat is situated near
the body of the boiler and is consequently affected by the heat
emanated by the same.
In this operating mode, it is the user who starts up and switches off the
boiler by pressing the
button for a few seconds.
Once in a while, it is advisable to check the contents of the tank, to
prevent the fire from dying out due to lack of fuel.
CAUTION!
If, during boiler operation, conditions arise which
modify the normal operating status of the same, the
general alarm indicator light (7) is turned on,
accompanied by an acoustic beep (see paragraph
entitled “boiler shutdown”) and the boiler reacts by
beginning the complete shutdown procedure.
In the event of an electrical power failure during
boiler start-up or operation, the boiler cools down and
is automatically restarted when the power returns.
