Cleaning the exchanger and the compartment underneath the brazier
every 2/3 days
Cleaning the exchanger and the compartment under the brazier is a
simple yet very important operation to ensure the performance
declared at all times.
Every two or three days, we therefore recommend you clean the
internal heat exchanger, following these few simple steps in order:
o
Lift the cover
o
Enable the
“
CLEANING
” function – with the boiler switched
off, press the control panel button
4
shown in figure 7 for 2
seconds. This procedure starts the smoke blower on the
maximum setting to expel the soot that becomes dislodged
when the exchanger is cleaned.
o
Clean the pipe unit
– Using the "hands cool" implement
provided, shake the rods situated under the cover vigorously 5-
6 times. This will remove any soot that has deposited on the
exchanger's smoke ducts during normal boiler operation.
o
Disable the "CLEANING" function -
this function is
automatically disabled after two minutes. If you need to
interrupt this function earlier, press button
5
shown in figure 7.
o
Clean the smoke conveyor compartment (fig.9) -
The
boiler is fitted with a removable ash tray designed to collect
any soot and ash build-up. When you have finished cleaning,
close the cover.
If this cleaning process is not performed every 2-
3 days, the boiler may trigger an alarm due to ash
build-up after several hours of operation.
