9.3.
FIRST START-UP
At this stage, you are ready to start up your boiler. Below is a brief
description of what to do to start up and shut down the boiler in order
to satisfy your curiosity and expectations.
9.3.1.
Boiler start-up
To start the boiler up
from the panel,
press button
for a few
seconds.
After approximately 15 minutes, the panel displays (8) show
the room temperature on the upper display and the
temperature of the water in the boiler on the lower display.
The boiler is ON!
If the start-up phase is completed and no flame appears (boiler off),
the display
(8)
will show “
Failed start-up alarm
” accompanied by an
intermittent acoustic message. If this is the case, switch the boiler off
by pressing the
button for a few seconds.
The display
(8)
will show “Off / current time”.
Check the brazier, are there any pellets?
If this is the first start-up, the fuel may well not be
able to reach the combustion chamber in time or in
the correct quantity programmed, since it has to
travel all the way from the tank to the brazier. If this
is the case, the brazier is empty or contains very few
pellets.
REMOVE THE PELLET FROM THE BRAZIER AND
REPEAT THE START-UP PROCESS BY PRESSING THE
BUTTON FOR A FEW SECONDS.
If, after a repeated number of start-up attempts, there is still no flame
despite a regular supply of pellets, this may mean there is a problem
with the boiler components or ascribable to incorrect installation.
REMOVE THE PELLET FROM THE BRAZIER AND CALL
FOR AN AUTHORISED TECHNICIAN.
9.3.2.
Boiler switch-off
The boiler can be switched off at any time.
To switch the boiler off, hold down the
button for a few
seconds
NEVER SWITCH THE BOILER OFF BY CUTTING OFF
THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY. Always allow the switch-
off phase to finish, otherwise you could damage the
structure and have trouble during subsequent start-
ups.
