LCD Indication
Description
3
Dynamic Gateway
- Gateway address, obtained by the
server.
4
DHCP Server
– DHCP server that allocates the
parameters.
5
Lease Time Left
- Remaining parameter allocation time.
When the ACU is in DHCP server mode, information about active DHCP clients served by
the ACU are shown:
1
MAC Address
- MAC (physical) address of the given client.
2
IP Address
- IP address allocated to that client.
3
Lease Time Left
- When the ACU is in Client mode, the
DHCP Server (the router) assigns an IP address to the ACU
and sets a
lease time
during which the address will be
valid. Lease Time Left shows the time remaining for this
validity. After that time, the DHCP server will assign
another address from the range of addresses.
Advanced Network Settings
Advanced network parameters mainly concern aspects of integrated services. They
apply if the laptop is set to DHCP client mode and this should not be changed. In this
case the ACU is set to DHCP server, so the ACU would give the Laptop the IP.
Additional settings enable changing the default Web and Telnet ports, timeouts, and
so on.
