LCD Indication
Description
5
Hub IP
- Used to enter the hub (remote) terminal IP
address so the IP-based modem can gather ping replies
from the hub and properly reply the Lock status to the
ACU.
(For satellite modems that communicate with the ACU by
RS232, this setting is not used.)
6
MAC Address
- Used to enter the ACU’s MAC address -
physical (hardware, Media Access Control) address.
7
Telnet Timeout - Used to enter the time-out range from 1
to 60 minutes.
Dynamic Network Parameters
Dynamic settings apply if the ACU, laptop, modem, and other devices are connected
to a router (the ACU is in DHCP client mode), where the router distributes the IP
addresses dynamically. These parameters enable configuring the embedded DHCP
client/server.

LCD Indication
Description
1
DHCP
Enable
- Enables or disables the embedded DHCP
feature.
2

Dynamic settings and Server mode. The address range has
10 IP addresses. The default start address is
192.168.1.101.
4
Address Range
- Range of network addresses, assigned to
the clients.
5
Lease Time
- Period of address allocation in seconds.
When the ACU is in DHCP client mode, Network parameters obtained by a DHCP server
are shown:
1
Dynamic IP Address
– ACU IP address, obtained by the
server.
2
Dynamic Netmask
– ACU subnet mask, obtained by the
server.
