a. Ensure at least 2.5 cm distance between the antenna base and the roof
surface.
Failing to leave this distance may result in damage to the roof due to
the bouncing of the antenna while the vehicle is in motion.
b. Ensure that the brackets fit correctly on the crossbars or mounting legs.
With crossbars that are arched, add spacers (not included) to the
three brackets located opposite the azimuth motor, as needed.

2. Attach the lower brackets to secure the antenna on the crossbars or legs.
After verifying that the antenna upper brackets fit correctly on the crossbars or
legs, you can assemble the lower bracket assembly.
Be sure to use only the hardware provided in the hardware kit.
Substituting any hardware or making any modifications may result
in an improper and unsafe installation. Install all hardware
according to this guide.
Installers should confirm good condition of the roof rack
crossbars/metal legs before installing the antenna.
