Routing Cables Through a Grommet
Many vehicles have grommets located in different areas of the under carriage. Many
grommets are large enough to fit multiple coaxial cables, even with the connectors
still attached.
Be sure to seal the grommet with a silicone sealant once the cables are installed to
the equipment rack.

Routing through a Drilled Point of Entry
Trained installers can drill a small point of entry into the vehicle’s roof or body. Only
a highly trained and qualified technician should perform this task. Appropriate
watertight seals should be used.
Only a trained automotive technician should perform this
installation. Gilat is not responsible for damage caused to vehicles
by the improper drilling or installation of the antenna cable through
the roof or body of the vehicle or for water damage or other damage
resulting from the drilling of a point of entry.
