(1) ENGINE OIL PRESSURE Lamp

Proper oil level is one of the most crucial as

well as frequent checks that should be

made. When oil level drops, oil pressure

drops, and the lamp lights up.

NOTICE

If at any time during operation the lamp lights up,

shut off engine

immediately

, and troubleshoot

the engine. Otherwise, serious damage to engine

will occur.

PERATION

(2) ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE Lamp

Too much heat is a sign of engine trouble,

and damage will occur if not corrected.

NOTICE

Should ENGINE Oil TEMPERATURE Lamp ever

come on, shut off engine immediately, and

troubleshoot the engine.

(4) HYDRAULIC OIL TEMPERATURE Lamp

The hydraulic oil temperature lamp will

come on if the oil temperature gets too high.

NOTICE

Should the HYDRAULIC OIL TEMPERATURE

lamp ever come on, shut off engine immediately,

and troubleshoot the hydraulic system.
Always change the hydraulic oil filter at the

proper times. Do not allow the engine to run with-

out filter installed. Failure to heed either direc-

tive will result in poor machine performance and

severe damage to hydraulic system.

(5) ENGINE HOUR Meter

The engine hour meter automatically

measures hours of machine operation. This

measurement is used, then, in determining

when to perform maintenance according to

the Maintenance Intervals section of this

manual and the "Maintenance Schedule" in

the

Deutz [Engine] Operation Manual.

(3) ALTERNATOR Lamp

If the ALTERNATOR lamp comes on while

machine is operating, the battery is not

being properly charged. Shut off engine, and

troubleshoot electrical charging system.
