Every 10 Service Hours
or Daily
Engine Oil Level
- Check
The oil level must be checked when the engine is level
and has not been in operation for at least ten minutes.
Add or remove oil gradually, until proper level is
reached.
NOTICE
Lower than recommended oil levels result in
insufficient lubrication and serious engine
damage.
Higher than recommended oil levels result in
inefficient engine operation and piston gumming
and subsequent failure.

Engine Combustion Air
Cleaner
- Check

1. Check the service gauge (1).
Clean (or replace) filter cartridge if
needed (when red flag of service gauge is
fully visible). After cleaning or replacing
filter cartridge, reset service gauge by
pressing in tab on end.
Replace safety cartridge if needed.
2. Discharge the dust ejector valve (2).
For further details applicable to the service gauge,
filter cartridge, safety cartridge, and dust ejector
valve, see the Combustion Air Cleaner section
of the
Deutz [Engine] Operation Manual.
Fuel Tank
- Fill
Fill the fuel tank at the end of each day of operation to
drive out moist air and to reduce water condensation.
Follow the directions given in the As Required
Section of this
Maintenance Intervals
section.
Hydraulic Oil
- Check
The hydraulic oil tank (reservoir) is located opposite
the fuel tank, on the front operator's side of machine.
Instrument Panel Lamps -
Check
All lamps should always light up when keyswitch is
moved from OFF to START position. If any fail to light
up, replace lightbulb (RAYCO part #736133).After
engine starts and key is in the run position, all lights
should go out unless there is a problem.
