Air Cleaner for Cab Fresh Air - Clean
This cab fresh air cleaner is located inside the cab. When
setting in the seat, the filter is under a cover at the right rear.
To gain access to the cab filter remove the four bolts (8)
using a 3/8 wrench or socket.
Once the cover is removed press in on the two tabs (9) on
either side of the filter cover and lift cover off. After the cover
is removed, turn the filter to loosen rubber seal. Be careful
not to move side to side as there is a center support (10)
that aligns the filter with the base.
If it is slightly dirty it may be cleaned by lightly tapping on a hard
surface. Replace at stated intervals or when needed (Rayco
filter element # 806306). DO NOT USE COMPRESSED
AIR TO CLEAN OUT FILTER!
In very dusty conditions, check this filter daily and clean or
replace as needed.
Batteries - Check
The battery is located inside the engine enclosure on the
left side of the machine. It can be accessed by opening up
the enclosure side door.
When removing the battery, loosen the hold down strap, flipup
the handle (top of the battery), and slide out.
Clean Terminals
1. Remove the black negative (-) cable.
2. Clean the terminal and clamp of any oxidation buildup
with a stiff wire brush. (Stroke the brush away from your
body to avoid hazardous particles.)
3. Apply a light coat of battery terminal protectant around
base of terminal.
4. Replace the cable.

EYEGLASSES WHEN WORKING WITH A BATTERY.
