Cooling System
- Drain
The cooling system is made up of a radiator that is
cooled by the engine fan and an internal surge tank.
To clean, remove the radiator cap (2) and remove the plug (1)
in the bottom of the radiator. Allow to drain into an approved
container and dispose according to local laws. Radiator drain
(1) is accessible by removing the rear belly pan (3) under the
rear of the machine and opening the rear door.
Engine Coolant Level
- Check
The coolant level should be checked daily prior to startup
by visually looking into radiator fill. Coolant level should be
at the bottom of the fill neck.
Radiator Pressure Cap
-Check
The cooling system is designed to use a pressure cap to
prevent boiling of the coolant. Pressure test the cap to the
stated 16 psi rating every 500 hours to insure it is working
properly. Inspect the rubber seal of both Pressure cap and
Fill cap to insure they are not damaged or deteriorating.
Replace as required
THIS IS A PRESSURIZED SYSTEM. NEVER OPEN
THE RADIATOR CAP IF THE RADIATOR IS HOT! WAIT
UNTIL IT HAS COOLED DOWN BEFORE OPENING
WITH CAUTION.
