Limb Riser Screens
Access
The C120R limb riser is equipped with three clean out
screens. Before opening any part of the limb riser, be sure
that the engine is shut off and lock out tag out process
is followed. When accessing the screens use approved
ladder or lift.
• To access the top screen, remove the two bolts(A)
at the rear of the limb riser and lift up.
• To remove the two lower screens, pull outward on
the rubber strap(B) and release it from the grate.
Once the strap is removed, slide grate(C) out to
clean.
Limb Riser Screens
Clean
When cleaning the screens and cooler on the limb riser,
use compressed air to loosen and remove dirt and debris.
Use caution when cleaning out the cooler so that the
cooling fins do not get bent over. This will hinder the
operation of the cooler and cause the hydraulic system to
over heat.
If water is necessary to remove debris, the cooler must
be completely dry before putting the machine back into
service. If used when cooler is wet any dirt in the area will
cling to the cooler and stop air flow, causing the hydraulics
to over heat.
Under any circumstance the cooler should not be
cleaned with a high pressure washer.
ROPS - Inspect
The Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS) is built into the
top of the cab assembly. Inspect area for loose or damaged
bolts. Replace any damaged bolts and any missing bolts with
original replacement parts only. Tighten the bolts to 400 ft. lbs.
Do not weld on the ROPS.
Do not drill holes in the ROPS.
If the ROPS has any cracks in the welds, or in any metal
portion, consult your Rayco dealer.
Do not mount fire extinguishers, first aid kits, lights or other
items to the ROPS/FOPS structure. Welding brackets or
drilling holes in the ROPS/FOPS can weaken the structure.
See your Rayco dealer for mounting guidelines.
Any alteration that is not specifically authorized by Rayco
invalidates the certification for the ROPS/FOPS. The
protection that is offered by the ROPS/FOPS will be impaired
if the ROPS/FOPS has structural damage. Damage to the
structure can be caused by an overturn, falling objects, etc.
Use of the ROPS/FOPS in a damaged, modified or abused
condition, or with a prior overturn, is unsafe and the operator
protection is no longer suitable and must be replaced.
Any alterations, modifications, add-ons or repair without the
written consent of Rayco Manufacturing will void the product’s
warranty, liability and certification.
