1. Key Switch
The key switch (1) is used to start the engine, stop the engine
and activate the electrical system
• OFF
- Insert and remove the key from the switch in
this position ONLY. In the OFF position, the electrical
system is disabled.
• ON
- Turn the key to this position to enable the electrical
system. The CHECK ENGINE and WAIT TO START
warning lamps will self test for a few seconds. When
lights go out you may start the engine.
• START
- Turn the key to this position and hold to crank
the engine. Releasing the key will allow it to return to
the ON position.
The engine will not start unless the safety interlocks are
engaged. The safety interlocks are as follows:
• Operator must be in the seat.
• Seat belt must be latched.
• Cutter head is in the Off position.
• E-Stop Button is pulled out.
• Cab pins must be locked
Once the engine is running, if any of these interlocks are
disengaged, the engine will remain running; however, all
machine movement will be interrupted.

This Switch controls the sensitivity of the left hand
joystick with three positions to provide operator
with their preferred setting, slow/medium/fast
sensitivity.
6. Auxiliary Flow Switch
This Switch controls the flow direction for the
auxiliary hydraulic ports on the right hand side of
the machine. This also is a three position switch.
When using the Rayco head this switch should
be in the center “Off” position.
When using attachments other than the Rayco
head, the C120R has the flow direction option that allows
the operator the ability to change the direction of hydraulic
flow with out changing hose ends within the couplers. An
example of this is a rotary type implement attached to the
C120R, and when engaged the implement turns in reverse
operation. At this time the switch can be positioned for the
proper implement rotation direction.
Note: If not using the couplers on the right hand
side of the machine, position the switch to the
center position.
