The CLONE utility is very similar to the COPY
and COPYA utility supplied by Apple on their
Apple DOS 3.3 Master Diskette. In fact, CLONE
is the enhanced DOS ‘s replacement for the two
Apple utilities.
To get into the CLONE utility, boot up your
enhanced DOS diskette containing CLONE and type:
BRUN CLONE<RETURN>
This will work under both Integer BASIC and
Applesoft BASIC.
Once CLONE has been loaded into memory by DOS,
the utility will sign—on by saying:
CLONE
RANA SYSTEMS’ 16-SECTOR DOS 3.3

Unlike COPY and COPYA, CLONE allows you to copy
on the DOS image (boot tracks) from one diskette
to another without disturbing the other
information off the destination diskette. This
allows you to update existing DOS diskettes with
the enhanced DOS.
