Type the following three CP/M commands. After
each command, CP/M will simply respond with
“A>”.
ERA FORMAT. COM <RETURN>
ERA COPY. COM<RETURN>
ERA RW13.COM<RETURN>
These three commands ERAsed the old FORMAT and
COPY utilities, along with the little used (but
still useful) utility RW13. RW13 was erased to
make room for the SGLDRIVE utility on the al-
ready packed Disk ][ capacity CP/M master disk-
ette.
Now, to copy the new utilities onto the enhanced
CP/M master, insert the Enhancements diskette
into the drive, and then type:
SGLDRIVE<RETURN>
SGLDRIVE is PIP’s assist utility which makes
CP/M (and therefore PIP) think that your one
drive is actually two drives. SGLDRIVE will
respond with:
Enhanced Apple ][ CP/M
Dual to Single Drive Mapping Utility
