19.0 Repair
19.1 Replacing the leg shear bolt
Every leg is fitted with a shear bolt.
In the event that a shear bolt is broken, it must
be replaced.
Bolt size:
shear bolt = M14 x 90 mm (WAF 22 mm)
Always use original shear bolts.

Risk of crushing
Only approach the plough body
from the rear. There is a risk of
crushing when the plough body
swivels back.
Risk of injury
Risk of injury due to heavy and
sharp-edged components.
Gloves should always be worn.
Risk of accident
Risk of accident due to loose
shear bolts.
When replacing shear bolts,
always use self-locking nuts.

NOtE
Replacement shear bolts are
housed in the cross tube (

the tower!
Always insert the shear bolt
with the head pointing towards
the leg side.
Undo the pivot bolt (
1
, WAF* 24 mm).
Insert a new shear bolt (
2
, WAF* 24 mm)
and tighten.
Tighten the pivot bolt.
After inserting a new shear bolt,
retighten all bolts on the leg and bracket.
Observe the tightening torques!
