11.3.10 Readjusting the trash board
(additional equipment)
The trash boards must be adjusted so that
the flow of earth is not slowed down too
much.
With crumbling soil, the trash boards are
only needed to scrape off and skim the
upper furrow crown.
Set the working depth and working speed
accordingly.
On the land side, the trash board should be
resting against the mouldboard.
NOtE
With heavy, not crumbling soil,
use skimmers instead of trash
boards.
Loosen the locking nut M17 (
1
, WAF*
17 mm).
Adjust the trash board (

) by turning the
support bolt (

, WAF* 17 mm).
Set the support bolts to contact
Tighten the locking nut.

The working depth of the subsoil decom-
pactors can be adjusted.
Overload protection: shear bolt (

) M16 x
50-4.6.
Undo the shear bolt (

) and fixing bolt
(

, WAF* 24 mm).
Adjust the height of the subsoil
compactors using the fixing holes (
a + b
).
Insert the shear bolt and fixing bolt and
tighten.
Observe the tightening torques!
