6. For this example we will name our Hyperterminal
FCR 100
and select the Dial-in icon:
7. Click on
OK
. Now the Phone Number dialog box appears.
You do not have to enter a phone number, since you will be connecting directly through your serial port.
8. From the
Connect using:
pull-down menu, select the communications port assigned to your serial
port.
Note
This example uses COM2 for the serial port. You may use any
serial port that supports baud rates of at least 9600 bits per
second.
