Bus Commands
Bus commands - commands which are sent to the
801G* with ATN true - are defined in the IEEE-488.1
standard. The details of operation of these commands
are defined in the IEEE-488.1 and 488.2 standards.
The following bus commands are supported by the
801G*:
DCL
Device Clear - Clears the input buffer and
output queue, and stops parsing any com-
mands.
SDC
Selected Device Clear - Same as Device Clear.
GTL
Go To Local - Enters the local state. See the
Remote/Local section.
LLO
Local Lockout - Enters the lockout state. See
the Remote/Local section.
SPE
Serial Poll Enable - Enables transmission of
the Status Byte.
SPD
Serial Poll Disable - Exits the serial poll state.
Common Commands
The common commands used by the 801G* are listed
on the following pages. Common commands are com-
mands which begin with an asterisk (*). These com-
mands are defined by the IEEE-488.2 standard and
operate the same from instrument to instrument. The
801G* supports all required common commands plus
one additional command (*OPT?).
