Procedures for Running an Auxiliary Channel Analyzer Test on HDMI/HDBaseT Repeater or
Distribution Devices

This subsection provides procedures for ACA monitoring of HDMI/HDBaseT repeater devices while the 780C is
emulating both an HDMI/HDBaseT sink device and an HDMI/HDBaseT source device.

1. Connect the HDMI system devices to the 780C as shown in the diagrams above and described as follows:

a. The HDMI/HDBaseT repeater device input is connected the 780C

HDMI/HDBaseT OUT

connector.

b. The HDMI/HDBaseT repeater device output is connected to the 780C

HDMI/HDBaseT IN

connector.

2. Enable the HDMI or HDBaseT interface as the active digital interface input as shown below.

3. From the Home screen (shown below) touch select the Aux Channel Analyzer activation button.
