to enable “EAN 13”.
Addendum
An addendum is a separate bar code, supplementary to the main bar code. This parameter
provides three options:
Disabled, Optional
and
Required
. Depending on the value chosen
for this parameter, an addendum is recognized or ignored.

Double-tap on
Addendum
to display a dialog box listing your options.

Highlight an item, and tap on
OK
.
When “Addendum” is set to
Disabled
, the scanner does not recognize an addendum. If this
parameter is set to
Optional
, the scanner searches for an addendum and if one exists,
appends it to the main bar code. When the parameter is set to
Required
, the scanner does not
accept the main bar code without an addendum.
