— Copy the file to the TFTP server’s root folder.

File Type
: Select the proper file type. Choices include:

Config:
Configuration information, such as System name, contact name, and so on.

Image:
AP image (an executable program)

Operation
: Select either
Update,
or
Update and Reboot
. If you select operation type as “Update”, then you
should reboot the AP after downloading files. Whereas, If you select operation type as “Update and Reboot”, the
system will automatically reboot the AP after downloading the files.
NOTE:
If you select None as Operation, then no operation will be performed.

Click
Update
to initiate the process.
Retrieve From Device Using HTTP
To retrieve files from the AP device using HTTP,
1. Navigate to
Management
>
File Management
>
Retrieve from Device > HTTP
. The
HTTP Retrieve
page appears.

2. In the
HTTP Retrieve
page, provide the following details

File Type:
Select the type of file (config, event log) from the drop-down box.

Click
Retrieve
button to initiate the process.

The
Download
page appears. Click
Download
to download the file.

Save
button to save the file to a desired location.
