13.7 Exhaust fan, type SST AL
13.7.1 Instructions for safe use
The
SST-AL exhaust fan is used to extract hazardous substances from hazardous material, safety,
chemical and gas cylinder cabinets as well as from acid and lye cabinets (aggressive and / or
explosive media with a dust content of < 5 g/m³). Ambient temperatures from +10°C to +40°C are
permitted. The device ventilates the cabinet depending on the required air change rate and indicates
the current function by means of two lamps each (RED = Error, GREEN = Service). The device also
has potential-free outputs for these signals. It is suitable for extracting air from cabinets as defined in
EN 14470-1 and DIN 12925 Part 2.

Improper use could result in broken impellers, fatigue failures or fires due to
sparks, possibly leading to personal injury or material damage.
