Instrument Name
Enter the desired name of the instrument. This feature is typically used if a laboratory has more than one GloMax
®
Navigator Instrument. The instrument name will be included in the results files.
Note:
Changing the instrument name will force a reboot of the Tablet PC.

Import Protocols
When new protocols are available, the administrator may import new protocols with instructions directly from the
Promega web site:
www.promega.com/resources/tools/detection-instruments-software/promega-branded-
instruments/glomax-navigator/
Download the protocol file from the web site and save to a USB flash drive, network location, local Tablet PC, etc.
From the GloMax
®
Navigator Software Import Protocols window (Settings
Administrator
Import Protocols),
navigate to the folder location and select the file.
Select on the
Drive
\ button at the top to view the available drive locations. Then select the specific drive to
navigate to the location of the protocol package file. Protocol package files will appear as blue rectangles in the
Select File Window. Touch the package file that you wish to import.

OK
when finished.
