Visual check, whether all fan exhausts are clean and the fans are prop-
erly working.

If required, clean the fan exhausts with a dry cloth or if necessary use
a vacuum cleaner.
Instructed person
Check whether all fans inside the electrical cabinet are operating accord-
ingly.

Use a sheet of paper and keep it in front of the fans inside the elect-
ical cabinet to check if it is moving.
Instructed person
Check whether all interface cables are installed properly in their respec-
tive sockets.

Before re-plugging loose cables, properly shut down the control unit
and machine and secure against inadvertent restart.
n
Unplug the respective cables and re-plug them afterwards.

7.3 Measures after maintenance
Perform the following steps after completing maintenance and before
switching on the control unit and the machine:
1.
Check all previously loosened screw connections for a tight fit.
2.
Check whether all previously removed protective devices and
covers are properly installed again.
3.
Make sure that all tools, materials and other equipment used
were removed again from the cabinet.
4.
Clean up work area and remove any substances left over, such
as fluids, cleaning material or the like. Dispose them according to
the current applicable regulations.
5.
Make sure that all safety features on the control unit and relating
to the machine are fully functional.
