There is no need to send back an “acknowledgement” to the caller. You may
initiate establish voice communication after press ENT to switch to sender
desire Channel. Establish voice communication on the channel selected by
the caller.
The MMSI data contained within the received DSC signal is displayed in the
LCD. If the MMSID matches to a person in your BUDDY LIST, his NAME is dis -
played instead of the MMSID numeric data.
To cancel the mode, press the EXIT key. The call is interrupted and the Normal
Communication screen appears in the display with the channel remaining.
Also press EXIT kEY can terminate the auto switch before 10s when received
all ship call and If auto sw set to AUTO, but you not want radio switch to new
channel.
For safety or urgency call, display same as below:
A counter will be on the lower right corner of the 1st page
1) AuTO sW set to ON (rotate the cH knob to view the whole informa-
tion of received call)
2) AuTO sW set to Off (rotate the cH knob to view the whole infor-
mation of received call)
5.3.2 REcEIvING ANd REPly A “TEsT” cAll
When “TEST CALL” received the routine tone sound out and the test call re -
ceived message is displayed, if test reply set to MANUAL, user should manual
reply sender with press ENT key.
If test reply is set to AUTO, the test call will be automatically acknowledged
when after 10s of received test call and after auto ACk, radio will not sound
the alarm.
