Settings Screen
The Settings screen extends your control over your Plextor drive and lets you change
many of the operational parameters for the drive.

AudioFS: Turns AudioFS on (default) or off. See the next chapter for
information on AudioFS.
•
Prevent Low Speed Reading: Prevents a high-speed drive (Plextor CD-ROM
drives 20x and higher) from reading at low speeds. This feature enables better
playback of video games that are poorly manufactured. See below for an
explanation of how to use this feature.
•
Lock: Locks the drive, preventing use of the Plextor drive’s front-panel eject
button.
•
Unlock: Unlocks the drive, allowing use of the Plextor drive’s front-panel eject
button.
•
Drive Speed: Click to choose a read speed for the drive.
•
Spindown Timeout: Click to choose how long the drive will continue to spin the
disc before stopping when not playing or recording.
