Plextor Manager 2000 User’s Manual
•
CD/DA–A/V Rocker Switch: Click to toggle playing audio from a CD/DA disc
or playing digital audio/video from a playlist or an individual file.
•
Open Files: Select digital audio/video files for playing.
•
Options: Open an option screen with other options for MVP 2000.
•
About: Click here to see the Plextor ID and web site.
•
Graphic Display: Click once to bring up a graphic display screen. Click one
more time to close the screen. Click inside the graphic display screen itself to
toggle the display type.
•
Adjust Volume: Drag up or down to control audio volume.
•
Minimize: Click to minimize this application.
•
Quit: Click to close the MVP 2000 window.
•
Playlist: Click to open the playlist screen. Click again to close the screen.
•
Main display window: Shows title, track, time, and other information.
During playback, click once on the time counter to switch the time display
from counting up to counting down.
If you’re playing a digital music file such as WMA and MP3, single-click
with your left mouse button on the file or song name to see a file information
window with displays of the file or song name, title, and artist. This window
also shows important formatting information such as MPEG type and layer,
bit rate, sample rate, sound quality, and length in MM:SS and bytes.

Playback controls:
Record to CD-R or CD-RW: Click to start recording to CD-R or CD-RW
media.
Play: Click to begin playback of the active digital file, playlist or CD-Audio
track.
Pause: Click to pause playback.
Resumes from current location in file or on audio CD.
Stop: Click to stop playback.
Resumes from the beginning of this file or audio CD track.
Track/Item Back: Click to move to the previous CD track or digital file.
Skip Back: Click to move backward or “rewind” the CD-Audio track or
digital file.
Skip Forward: Click to move forward in this CD-Audio track or digital file.
Track/Item Forward: Click to move to the next CD-Audio track or digital
file.
Eject: Click to open the drive’s tray.

Adjust Position: Click and drag to adjust playback position within the CD-Audio
track or digital file.
