Saving a Playlist
To save a playlist:
1. Click the Save Playlist button on the playlist screen. You see a text box where
you can select a name and location for the playlist file.
2. In the text box, navigate to the desired folder and enter a filename for the playlist.
The file is saved with extension .PLL. If you entered a name for the playlist by
editing the playlist title by right-clicking on the Edit Playlist Entry button, that
becomes the filename.
Opening a Playlist
To open a playlist:
1. In the main MVP 2000 window, set the CD/DA–A/V rocker switch to the A/V
(lower) position. You see the Playlist button enabled.
2. In the main MVP 2000 window, click the Playlist button. You see the playlist
screen.
3. In the playlist screen, click the Load Playlist button. You see a text box showing
playlist (.PLL) files.
4. Click the desired playlist (.PLL) file. The playlist is loaded and displayed on the
playlist screen.
Recording from a Playlist
To record a CD by using a playlist:
1. Place a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc in the PlexWriter.
2. In the main MVP 2000 window, set the CD/DA–A/V rocker switch to the A/V
(lower) position.
3. Load an existing playlist or create a new one as described on page 20.
4. Click the Record to CD-R button in the main MVP 2000 window. You see the
Edit Disc Information window with a list of tracks.
5. If you want to create a CD-Text disc, in the Edit Disc Information window
double-click on the field (Disc Title, Track Title, or Artist) to edit, type the new
desired information into that field. Hit the Enter key on the keyboard or click on
another field to complete each entry.
6. To insert a two-second gap between tracks, check the Gap box on. You can insert
a gap between all tracks, no tracks, or only selected tracks.
7. When all edits are completed:
Select Write CD-TEXT Disc to write a CD-Text audio CD.

Select Normal Audio Disc to write a normal audio CD. In this case, all your edits
in this window are lost.
