CEPHALOSTAT ADJUSTMENT

Technical Manual

The radiation beam must appear within borders of the rectangle marked on the beam align-
ment tool and to the right of the line marked “Soft tissue filter 0mm”.

If the left-hand side of the radiation beam does not reach the line marked “Soft tissue filter
0mm” or extends passed the line the soft tissue filter is in the wrong position it must be repo-
sitioned. Refer to the section 7.5 “Soft tissue filter adjustment” on page D-51.
