The compressor oil level should not be checked unless a refrigerant leak has occurred or
system pressure has been released, requiring an addition of refrigerant to the system.
9.
Clean any traces of oil from the clutch surface.
10. Examine cables for broken strands by wiping them with a cloth for their entire length. Visually
inspect the cable thoroughly for damage not detected by the cloth. Replace any damaged or
frayed cables.
(a) See Special Inspections, Procedures, Control Cable Inspection, or the latest edition of
FAA AC 43.13-1.
(b) At fifteen (15) years time-in-service, begin Cable Fittings 100 Hour Special
Inspection. See Special Inspections, Procedures, Control Cable Inspection, below.
11. Maintain cable tensions as specified in Table V-I, and, if installed, the appropriate autopilot
service manual.
12. Refer to Section XIII, Condenser Assembly Rigging, and verify/check microswitch
adjustment.
13. Not used.
14. Sloshing of fuel tanks not approved. For airplanes with fuel tanks which have previously been
sloshed, perform Sloshed Fuel Tank 100 Hour Inspection in Section VIII.
15. Refer to Section 4 of the Pilot's Operating Handbook for preflight and flight check list.
16. Refer to Pilot's Operating Handbook Supplement for preflight and flight check and for
intended function in all modes.
17. Check clamp connecting induction elbow to injector is torqued 40-50 in.-lbs.
18. Fly aircraft to check landing gear system in accordance with Paragraph 5A-14a.

In PA-32R-300 S/N’s 32R-7680001 thru 32R-7880068, for airplanes which have not installed
Piper Kit No. 766-244 and have accumulated 1,000 hours or more time-in-service,
conduct
Left Fuselage Frame (F.S. 73.04) 100 Hour Inspection (see Special Inspections, Procedures).

In PA-32R-300 S/N’s 32R-7680001 thru 32R-7880068, for airplanes which have not installed
Piper Kit No. 766-253,
conduct Engine Mount and Nose Landing Gear Attachment 100 Hour
Inspection (see Special Inspections, Procedures).
21. In
PA-32R-300’s only, for airplanes which have not installed Piper Kits No. 767-397 (LH) and
767-398 (RH) or do not have wing rib assemblies at W.S. 49.25 with date codes of 8313 or
higher (i.e. - manufactured circa July 2005 or later):
conduct 100 Hour Wing Rib Inspection,
(see Special Inspections, Procedures).
22. Check throttle body attaching screws for tightness; the correct torque for these screws is 40 to 50
inch-pounds.

For airplanes equipped with Aero Accessories Inc., Tempest Dry Air Pumps only, for pumps
which have accumulated 500 hours time-in-service or more,
inspect vacuum pump vane wear
per Vacuum Pump Vane Wear Inspection (see Special Inspections, Procedures).
