Select ‘Virtual SB’, then press
ENTER.

Select a setting.
Select one of the following:
•
Vir.SB On
– Virtual Surround Back is
always used (for example, on 5.1 encoded
material).
•
Vir.SB Off
– Virtual Surround Back mode
is switched off.
The
V.SB
indicator lights when Virtual
Surround Back is active.

Press to exit.
LFE Attenuate
Some Dolby Digital and DTS audio sources
include ultra-low bass tones.
Set the LFE attenuator as necessary to prevent
the ultra-low bass tones from distorting the
sound from the speakers.

Open the ‘Sound Setup’ menu.

Select ‘LFE ATT’, then press ENTER.

Select a setting.
Select one of the following:
•
0dB
– The LFE is not limited, which is the
recommended value.
•
-10dB
– The LFE is limited by the respective
degree.
•
LFE Off
– No sound is output from the LFE
channel.

Press to exit.
DTS CD setting
If you play a DTS-encoded CD, you will need to
change this setting to hear the decoded signal.

Open the ‘Sound Setup’
menu.

Select ‘CD Type’, then press ENTER.

Select a setting.
Select one of the following:
•
Normal CD
– Use for playback of regular
audio CDs. Some DTS-encoded CDs will
output noise when played.
•
DTS-CD
– Use for playback of DTS-
encoded CDs, but note that the beginning
of regular CD tracks may be skipped.

Press to exit.
