Important
• When making or changing connections on
the rear panel of this unit, be sure to switch
power off and disconnect the power cord
from the wall socket.
After completing all connections, connect
the power cord to the wall socket.
Using this unit for TV audio
To listen to audio from a TV, connect the TV’s
audio cable to one of the inputs on this unit.
•
Connect the audio output jacks on your
TV to the audio input jacks on the receiver.
• You can connect by either a digital or
analog audio cable. Select only one
method to make connections.
• To use the HDMI Control function when
you are connected to a supported Pioneer
Flat Screen TV, you must connect via
HDMI.
• When digital connections are used, it may
be necessary to adjust the digital audio
output settings on the TV. For details,
consult the operating instructions for your
TV.
Audio input settings from the TVs
(TV Input)
To listen to audio from a Flat Screen TV on this
device, you will need to connect an audio cable
other than an HDMI cable. From this menu, set
the audio input to that which you would like to
connect. Press
TV
on the remote control to
switch this unit to the input source selected
here. This setting is changed to the selected
input and the audio from the Flat Screen TV is
output from this device.
