To update the value for each item, press the SEARCH key while subscreen 4 is displayed.
For details on each item and the conditions of updating the values, see Table 2 below. [Procedures]
If the results of degradation of the LDs for CDs and DVDs are both NG, replace the drive.
• For correct measurement of items

to
4
indicated in the display below, leave the unit at room
temperature (25
°
C) for a while before turning it on, and do not load a disc.
• For RF measurement (item
5
), it is recommended to use the Test disc (GGV1025).
As the RF level differs depending on the characteristics of the pickup from product to product, it cannot
be used for judging degradation of the LD. Use the RF level as a rough guide to know the difference
between before and after lens cleaning.

• While the User Operation screen is displayed, press the ESC , DISP then 2 keys, then the DIG/ANA
key three times, in that order.
