Voltammogram
A plot of current vs. potential from an electro-
analytical experiment in which the potential is swept
back and forth between two limits.
Window Experiment
An experiment with a rotating ring-disk electrode
where the disk potential is swept slowly between two
limits, and the ring potential is swept in the same
manner as the disk potential but with a constant offset
between the ring and disk potentials.
Working Electrode
The electrode at which the redox process of interest
occurs. While there may be many electrodes in an
electrochemical cell, the focus of an experiment is
typically only on a particular half reaction occurring
at the working electrode.
