3.4 Functions in „StandAlone“ mode
The PIKO SmartMeasure Car can make all the measurements that it is capable of making; independent of a WLAN connection. The car’s factory
settings allow you to see all the measured values on its display screen using the touch-sensitive panels on either side of the display. Using the
car’s function keys, you can program basic settings directly into the car. Advanced settings can be programmed with PIKO SmartMeasure Car
ConfigTool software which is available free-of-charge at www.piko-shop.de
3.5 Switching off the car’s electronics
To turn off the PIKO SmartMeasure Car, press the POWER key for seven seconds. If the car
is not sitting on live track or is not moved for 3 minutes, it switches off automatically.
4. Functions in WLAN / smart device mode
You can download the free Android and iOS app “PIKO SmartMeasure Car” in our Webshop to your smartphone or tablet. For installation
instructions see the “tips” section. The app allows you to display up to six different measurements at the same time on your WLAN-connected
device. You don’t need to follow the car around the layout to see the displayed values anymore: you just watch them on your android device. The
app was designed for optimal data visualization and ease of use. It allows you to perform limited setups like selecting a DCC address to monitor
or resetting the distance counter.
