Initial CPR - CPR First

When the

INITIAL CPR

option is set to

CPR FIRST

, you will be prompted to

START CPR

immediately after the AED is turned on.

• If you did witness the arrest, you should press

ANALYZE

and proceed directly to analysis. This

will end the CPR period and you will see and hear

ANALYZING NOW, STAND CLEAR

Note:

The decision to end CPR early is based on your hospital protocol.

• If you did not witness the arrest, you should perform CPR and not press

ANALYZE

countdown timer continues for the duration specified in the

INITIAL CPR TIME

setup option, for example, 90 seconds. When
