4. Switch ID# from ID01 to ID02 to verify if can receive any signal at all. Using the remote control that
comes with the Scrolling Display follow the steps from step 3. Go to another POOL display, switch
ID# from ID02 (or whatever that display is assigned to), to ID01 to verify Control Box is sending
message correctly for ID01.
Section 3
– Type A Signs
In order to connect a Type A sign to an iBOS
®
system Series 5 or higher you will need to construct an
adaptor. The follow diagram illustrates how the adaptor is connected.
Conversely a 4 conductor phone wire can be connected directly by using a RJ45 jack, using the diagram.
As with all electrical connections all wires must be properly crimped for good connections.
