21.1 Safety instructions for transport
Improper transport
CAUTION!
Damages due to improper transport!
Improper transportation can lead to
considerable materialdamages.
– Exercise caution while unloading the
packed components as well as during in-
house transportation, and observe the
symbols and instructions on the package.
– Use only the provided lifting positions.
– Remove the packages only just before
installation.
Floating loads
WARNING!
Danger to life from floating loads!
While lifting loads, falling or uncontrolled
swiveling components pose danger to life.
– Never stand under unstable loads.
– Observe the specifications of the provided
tying points.
– Do not lift loads at projecting machine
components or components attached to
lugs, and ensure a stable base the tying
resources.
– Use only approved lifting devices and tying-
resources having adequate supporting
capacity.
– Do not use torn or damaged ropes and
belts.
– Do not place ropes and belts on sharp
edges and corners, do not tie and do not
turn.
