CALIBRATION PROCEDURE
To begin calibration for the 7600 Scale:
The calibration switch on the 7600 series scale is located below an access plate located on the
top, front, center of the scale. The access plate is held in place by a sealing screw that passes up
through the bottom of the scale. Remove the platform and stand the scale on it's side. Remove
the sealing screw form the bottom, front edge of the scale. Return the scale to an upright position
and slide out the calibration access plate.
The CAL button is located directly below where the access plate was. Press this button and
return the platform to the top of the scale.
The display will prompt "bAS ?". The calibration steps are described below.
To begin calibration for the 7600/4 Indicator:

Remove the fastening screws holding the back plate of the indicator and carefully lift off
the back plate.
Ø
The main circuit board is mounted to this back plate. Turn the plate and locate the
calibration button on the main circuit board. This button is labeled SW4 and CAL/SEL.
CAUTION:
Since this must be done with the indicator turned on, care MUST be
taken not to come in contact with the 110 volt power supply.

Enter calibration by pressing the CAL/SEL button. The display will prompt with
“bas ?”

Replace the back plate and replace the fastening screws.

The calibration steps are described below.
CALIBRATION STEPS
NOTE:
During the calibration procedure each calibration step will be printed to any
device interfaced to the RS-232 port. (Refer to page 22 for a sample print
out.)

Select which base is to be calibrated
1 = Base 1
2 = Base 2 (Base 2 option must be installed)
3 = Locks out base 2 (Will jump to "CAL 0")
CAL 10 Entry point for capacity and automatic calibration. Press ENT.
CAP 11
Full Capacity - Key in the capacity of the base.
ACL 12
Auto calibration of primary and secondary units. Use the UNITS/4 button to select
YES or NO. If YES is selected the scale will jump to CAL 40 and will store all
enteries below marked with an "*". If NO is selected the scale will proceed to the next
step.
