Leaving the
touch io
app open during a firmware update will cancel the update process and the user will
need to relaunch the app and start the update again.
Workaround
: Prior to starting the update, it is necessary to close out of the
pdk touch App
on your
device. (There are compatibility issues between these two apps.) If the
pdk touch App
is running, the
firmware update won’t work. Once the update is complete, the
touch App
can be started again.

Touch credentials in the
touch App
will not work reliably when a user has the
pdk.io App
in the
foreground.
●
If a reader is added to a system after touch credentials are issued to users, there will be an unspecified
delay in existing credentials that will work with that reader.
Workaround
: The user must launch the
touch App
into the foreground which will immediately refresh
their credentials.
