Crop Sweeper Hydraulic System Installation
Hydraulic Fittings
1.
Attach two 90 degree elbows into each lift cylinder. Refer to Detail E of previous page. The elbows to use should be item 5,
but could be item 3 depending upon which cylinder came with the crop sweeper.
2.
Fasten the hydraulic manifold plate to the left side of the left support bracket by using one of the 5/8" x 1-1/2" bolt and
nylock nuts. See Detail A on previous page.
3.
Attach the hydraulic valve to the support bracket using the 3/8" x 3" bolts and reverse lock nuts. See Detail A on previous
page.
4.
Install the hydraulic fittings as shown in Detail A on previous page.
5.
If not already done, install the hydraulic fittings for the fore/aft cylinders as shown in Detail D on the previous page.
6.
Next, install the adapter fittings into the hydraulic motor as seen in Detail B on the previous page.
7.
Refer to Detail C on the previous page and assemble the hydraulic flow divider as shown. When asssembled, mount the
hydraulic flow divider onto the mount on the rear tube of the crop sweeper using the 1/4" x 2-1/2" bolts and nylock nuts.
Tighten all the fasteners and hydraulic fittings.
Once all of the hydraulic fittings are installed and tightened, the hydraulic hoses can be connected. To help keep hoses organized,
do not untie the hoses until they are needed. The hydraulic hoses are marked with different color ties to help identify through the
assembly process. Hydraulic hose connections are detailed in the following pages.
